Funny birthday videos people actually forward
Searches for a funny birthday video usually end in an ecard animation or a clip of someone else’s party. What gets forwarded is the thing that is clearly about one person. This page makes that: a short video where two people deliver a wish just for them.
You type the name and add two photos. The two performers can be you and a friend, the whole reason the birthday person has the best group chat, or two relatives who are not shy about a mic. The rap trades verses, teases one harmless habit and ends warm.
It is built to be sent, not posted to the public: a message to the group chat, a text on the morning of the birthday, a clip played on a TV at dinner.
Want to see the words first?
The free lyrics tool has a Birthday style and two name fields. Check the jokes, then bring the topic back here to film it.
How it works
- 1
Enter the name
The first name goes into the topic. Add a detail in the topic box if you want it to land: a coffee habit, a catchphrase, a nickname they like.
- 2
Choose two performers
Photos of the people who will deliver the wish. Adults who agree to appear. You do not have to appear yourselves.
- 3
Send it
Download the clip and send it. If the first version is not funny enough, change the topic and render again.

For Dad
Topic: a funny birthday video for Dad, who lives at the grill.
- 1: Happy birthday, Dad, the grill is on
- 2: Burgers are ready, you were up at dawn
- 1: Your jokes are old but they land okay
- 2: Happy birthday, Dad, it’s your day
- 1: Make a wish, then blow, take your time
- 2: Another great year and the burgers are prime.
For a coworker
Topic: Sam on the third floor, who runs the coffee machine.
- 1: Happy birthday, Sam, you run the third floor
- 2: The coffee machine thanks you, we all want more
- 1: Cake in the kitchen at half past two
- 2: Even the printer sings happy birthday to you.
A funny birthday video for every relationship
Best friend
Use the inside joke nobody else would get. The more specific, the funnier.
Brother or sister
Tease the childhood story the family still tells. End with a line that says you are glad they are yours.
Mom or dad
Put them in the wish: the grill, the garden, the corny jokes. Keep it warm and they will play it for the neighbors.
Coworker
A clean, short one for the team channel. Mention the coffee machine, the standing meeting or the snack drawer.
Partner
Switch to the Sweet style and add one detail only you know. It reads as a love note with a beat.
Long-distance friend
A video travels where a hug cannot. Send it at midnight in their time zone so it is the first thing they see.
What makes a birthday video funny
Tease a habit, not a person
Always late, always hungry, loves the same three songs. Habits are funny; looks, age and relationships are not.
Pick one joke and commit
Twelve seconds fits one running joke, not five. Choose the best and let the rap repeat it.
End warm
The last line should be sincere. A wish after a joke is what makes people reply with a heart.
Send it with a message
A short note like "turn the sound on" sets it up and makes it more likely they open it right away.
