Privacy Policy

How Rap Duet handles photos, accounts, and analytics

This policy is for Rap Duet at rapduet.com. Rap Duet is operated by Zane. Contact support@rapduet.com.

What we collect

  • Account: name and email from Google when you sign in.
  • Photos and prompts: the images and text you upload to make a video.
  • Generated videos: the results Rap Duet creates from your photos.
  • Usage: credit balances, plan entitlements, and basic device and log data needed to run the service.
  • Limited anti-abuse signals: hashed versions of your IP address and a first-party device identifier, used to prevent fraud and abuse. They are not used for advertising.
  • Payments: our payment processor receives the information needed to charge you. Rap Duet stores the resulting credits and plan entitlements, not your full card number.

How we use it

We use this information to generate videos, keep you signed in, enforce usage limits, store files, prevent abuse and fraud, and improve Rap Duet.

Photos and prompts are sent to AI video-generation providers solely to create your result. We do not sell your photos, and we do not use them to build advertising profiles.

To protect people and the service, prompts, uploaded photos, and generated results may be sent to content safety services solely to detect unsafe content.

How long we keep files

The photos you upload are deleted automatically within about 24 hours after your song finishes (or fails); we keep only a one-way hash used for safety checks. Generated songs are kept while your account is active so you can find them under My songs and download them again, and you can delete any song at any time. After account deletion, files are removed and we keep only minimized payment and credit-history records needed for law, fraud prevention, and financial reconciliation.

Analytics

Rap Duet uses Google Analytics (Google Analytics 4) to count page views and similar usage events, and OpenPanel, a self-hosted analytics tool run by us, to count page views and product events (for example that a song was made). OpenPanel events use an internal account id, never your email, name, photos or lyrics. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

Sharing

We share data with sign-in providers (Google), the AI providers that generate your video, content safety services, our hosting and file-storage provider, and a payment processor when you buy credits or a subscription. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

You can stop uploading photos, sign out, or email support@rapduet.com to ask for account or file deletion. Blocking essential storage can affect sign-in and abuse protection.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top is the latest version.
